Information we collect
- Account details: shop name, username, password, mobile number, email, and business location that you enter when you register or update your profile.
- Listings and messages: product details, photos you upload, buyer requirements, and in-app messages between users.
- Voice assistant: if you use the in-app voice chatbot, your spoken questions are converted to text on the device and sent to Google Gemini so we can answer product queries. Microphone access is requested only when you open that feature.
- Payments: vendor verification subscriptions are processed on our website. Payment providers (such as Razorpay) receive the details needed to complete the transaction. We do not store full card numbers in the app.
- Technical data: basic device and app logs needed to keep the service working (for example, to diagnose failed requests).
How we use information
- To create and manage vendor accounts and listings
- To show products, connect buyers and sellers, and deliver messages
- To verify sellers and process subscriptions
- To answer questions through the optional AI chatbot
- To improve reliability and prevent abuse
Who we share information with
- Our servers hosted for mylaptopmarket.com, to operate the marketplace.
- Google (Gemini) for optional voice/text chatbot replies. Do not share passwords or payment details in chatbot messages.
- Payment processors when you buy a vendor subscription on the website.
- We do not sell personal information. We do not use advertising SDKs or advertising IDs in the app.
Permissions
- Internet: required to load listings, log in, and send messages.
- Microphone: optional, used only for the voice chatbot.
- Photos / files: used only when you choose images for a product listing or profile. The system picker is used; the app does not scan your gallery.
Data retention and security
Account and listing data is kept while your account is active. Traffic between the app and our
servers uses HTTPS. You can ask us to delete your account and related personal data by emailing
faiz@mylaptopmarket.com.
Children
The app is a B2B business tool. It is not directed at children under 18.
Your rights
Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may
request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent where
processing is based on consent. Contact us at the email above.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
